About Me
Hi, I am Zeynep!
I’m a Product Designer with a background in Interior Architecture, currently based in Amsterdam.
Before moving into digital design, I spent years thinking about how people move through and experience physical spaces. I learned to look at the bigger picture while paying attention to the small details, how things are structured, how people navigate them, and how each decision contributes to the experience as a whole. Today, I bring that same way of thinking into digital products and experiences.
What I enjoy most about design is understanding the why behind people’s actions. I like asking questions, exploring how people interact with things, and turning those insights into experiences that feel clear, intuitive, and purposeful. For me, good design is not just about making something look right. It is about making it make sense.
I’m naturally curious and tend to go down rabbit holes. When something catches my attention, I like exploring it from different angles and connecting ideas that might not seem related at first. This curiosity is a big part of how I approach design. It keeps me questioning, experimenting, and looking for unexpected connections and solutions.
My background in architecture, combined with my interest in technology and human behaviour, led me to Product Design. I see it as a space where my different interests come together: understanding people, solving problems, and creating thoughtful experiences.
When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me exploring a new part of a city, taking photographs with my analog camera, or sketching. I’m fascinated by places, cultures, and the stories hidden in everyday details. I think that habit of noticing is something I bring into my design work too.
